  • Data around Detailed Targeting Expansion?

    I always go back and forth about whether to include Detailed Targeting Expansion (DTE) in my ad set. I realize that including it tends to drive the cost per conversion way down, but I worry that it doesn't drive the cost per Spotify stream (which is really what we care about, after all) down. Facebook doesn't really tell us how DTE works other than that they "add or remove interests to reach more people who may convert, but wouldn’t otherwise have been in your target audience." Ok, well what if Facbook removes the "Spotify" interest and sends my ad to people who don't use Spotify!? So, does anyone have any data from their testing around cost per Spotify stream when DTE is on vs off?
