  • Vote For Your Distributor

What music distributor do you use at the moment? Feel free to list others if they're not on this list, I maxed out the number of selections haha.

I've been using DistroKid for a few years and have been happy with them. I'll drop my affiliate code here in case anyone wants to try them, even though in full disclosure they have sponsored a few of my videos i've been using their service before that happened and I pay for it myself. https://distrokid.com/vip/andrewsouthworth

My distributor is ONErpm. They’ve been around for a while. Yet for some reason I never see them mentioned. This is why I quit Distrokid and went with ONErpm: https://youtu.be/9Aou4qcfbOg

I've heard good things about them, and was going to include them but ran out of poll options haha. Tried to hit what I guessed were the most popular distributors in the poll. Whats your experience with ONErpm?

Good so far. Haven’t been with them long enough to really judge. But no issues yet.

I've been using DistroKid for 4 years now, but I'm about to switch to ONErpm. Basically since at my current level, the 15% I would be paying them for my streams is lower than the $40 I have to pay DistroKid each year. It's also nice that they have a little more "local" support (I'm in Mexico).

Also! A big problem with DistroKid is that they are taking 30% of my money as a tax retention. I believe this only happens for non-US users, even though I barely get any streams from the US. So, $40 USD plus 30%... It's quite expensive.

They take tax when your country doesn't have a tax treaty with the us, i'm from the netherlands so in my case they wouldn't withhold tax because of the tax treaty between both countries to avoid paying tax twice.
I switched from spinnup to landr for unlimited uploads instead of paying for every single release.
